How Soneta 0.1% Cream works

Soneta 0.1% Cream is a steroid. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy.

• Soneta 0.1% Cream is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort of various skin conditions.
• It should be applied to the affected areas as a thin film two or three times daily, or as advised by your doctor.
• Do not use it more often or for longer than advised by your doctor.
• Do not cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor, as this may increase the risk of side effects.

• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies, such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.

Indication of Soneta 0.1% Cream

Metasone 0.1% Cream is an externally administered topical drug that helps to relieve redness and irritation caused by certain skin diseases. This comprises psoriasis (a skin condition in which skin cells stack up and create scales, as well as dry, itchy areas), eczema (a skin ailment in which the skin becomes dry, itchy, and occasionally develops red, scaly rashes), and dermatitis. Pharmacology

Mometasone is an anti-inflammatory corticosteroid. Corticosteroids' particular mechanism of action in allergic rhinitis is unclear. Dosage & Administration of Soneta 0.1% Cream

Cream/Ointment: 

• Soneta 0.1% Cream is only intended for external usage.
• Apply a tiny quantity of cream/ointment with your fingertip to the clean and dry afflicted region, as directed by your doctor.
• Avoid getting cream/ointment in your nose, mouth, or eyes.
• If you come into touch with these places by mistake, thoroughly rinse with water. If your hands are not impacted, wash them before and after applying the cream/ointment.
• Soneta 0.1% Cream is not recommended for use in children below 2 years of age.
• Consult your doctor before applying Soneta 0.1% Cream.

Interaction

• Inform your doctor if you are currently taking or have recently taken any other medications.
  Please consult your doctor before using Soneta 0.1% Cream if you have rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), acne, skin atrophy (thinning of the skin), perioral dermatitis (redness and swelling of the skin around the mouth), cold sores, genital itching, chickenpox, shingles, warts, wounds, or ulcerated skin.

Contraindications

Individuals having a history of hypersensitive responses to Mometasone or any of the preparation components should avoid using the medication.

Pregnancy & lactation

Pregnancy: There has been no sufficient and well-controlled research on pregnant women.

Lactation: It is unknown whether this medication is excreted in breast milk.

Precautions & Warnings

• If you are allergic to Mometasone furoate or any other medications, please notify your doctor.

• If you detect any changes in your vision after taking Soneta 0.1% Cream, contact your doctor right away.
• If your skin gets sensitive or inflamed while using Soneta 0.1% Cream, discontinue use and see your doctor. If you take Metasone Cream 15 gm to treat psoriasis, your doctor may monitor your progress on a regular basis.
• If your condition returns after two weeks of ceasing therapy with Soneta 0.1% Cream, do not continue using Soneta 0.1% Cream without visiting your doctor.
